nous (noun) [pronounced - nowss] - common sense or intelligence, the capacity to reason or acquire knowledge

I'd like to say that it's all about nous, and in a way that's true. But there is more to the story...

Consider the following words from Leonardo da Vinci...

"Learning acquired in youth arrests the evil of old age; and if you understand that old age has wisdom for its food, then you will so conduct yourself in youth that your old age will not lack for nourishment."

Of Leonardo's genius there is no doubt. Looking deeply into this quote, it is clear that Leonardo had a sense of wonder about life. There is no suggestion of wealth, success or material gain, and yet the comment inspires wonder, passion and a thirst for learning. And this learning is not restricted to the young or to a time of life, but is a continuum that can be experienced by all to their very last days.

Imagine sharing that view. Imagine wanting to make the most of your life in every moment that you have.

nouspod is about talking to people and drawing out their experiences and allowing other people to listen and benefit. nouspod invites you to engage and share in content, insight and discussion.

The world is full of information, but do we have enough insight?

If you're a teacher, consider this quote by Van Morrison...

"Didn't I come to bring you a sense of wonder, Didn't I come to lift your fiery vision bright, Didn't I come to bring you a sense of wonder in the flame." (1984)
