Who is nouspod?
Hi there, I'm Colin Klupiec. Who is nouspod? What is nouspod? The answers are both simple and complex, but mainly inspiring - I hope!
I've been teaching Design and Technology type subjects since 1997, and have also worked for a diverse range of industries including architecture, landscape architecture, entertainment and engineering, both as an employee and as a consultant. In 2009 I began to consider the idea of starting to document my experiences and resources that I have gathered over the years and post them on the internet.
I've been quite fortunate in my experiences, and realise that whilst there are many others who are also fortunate, there are plenty of students around who don't get access to really cool stuff. That could be things like the projects they make, the tools they use, the machines they have access to, or the resources their teachers dish out to them. And there are plenty of teachers who have to deal with equipment that is "less than ordinary".
And so with the internet being what it is, there are also opportunities to put up cool things like podcasts and videos etc.
So this is my attempt at sharing the joy. I hope you find the content on nouspod useful and inspiring.
